Ferric Nitrate

FERRIC NITRATE (Ferric Nitrate Nonahydrate) used as a catalyst or reagent allows multiple applications. An industrial plant, for example, can use iron(III) nitrate for metal finishing to protect against corrosion, used as water treatment industry, may use it to remove nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater as well as treat sulphides. An animal feed manufacturer may use it as a micro-ingredient to create a feed that meets the dietary needs of the intended animal. Ferric nitrate serves as a strong oxidizer. It can enhance or accelerate the combustion of other substances as a result, which is why ferric nitrate requires storage separate and away from organics, reducing agents, and combustibles.
